Review DPF · Automating maintenance measures with AI

March 16, 2021

Challenge:

The monitoring of production-critical ultrapure water valves - previously carried out by employees on site & in a complex analysis process - is to be replaced by a suitable, AI-based sensor solution.

The aim is to be able to recognise potential failures at an early stage and plan maintenance processes better.

Solution:

Thanks to the scalable edge computing solution, incipient defects are recognised at an early stage for the first time. Maintenance measures can now be planned effectively.

The valves can be monitored in real time even if the Wi-Fi connection is briefly interrupted and is visualised using a clear dashboard.
