About ARR – Agentura regionálního rozvoje
ARR is the Regional Development agency for the Liberec Region. It was founded with the aim of providing technical assistance and subject matter expertise for the preparation and implementation of development projects of the towns and municipalities in the Nisa Euroregion. ARR has 4 Sections – Regional Development, Lipo.ink, Crystal Valley and Smart Accelerator – each focus on the benefit of the region, its inhabitants, economic entities and institutions.
Further ARR is a founding member of the Czech Digital Innovation Hub consortium Northeast (DIHNEB). DIHNEB provides advanced expert services to small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and other organizations – in order to dynamize their digital transformation.
Most relevant for the cooperation with Smart Systems Hub are the following 2 Sections:
Lipo.ink is a publicly funded business incubator and innovation center that has focused its activities on supporting the creation, development and scaling of innovative companies in the Liberec Region. Its clients include multiple companies with soft- and hardware solutions for IoT applications.
Smart Accelerator is a powerful unit for the implementation of the RIS3 strategy within the region. The aim of the Smart Accelerator is to support innovation, research and development in the region, to bring stimuli and experience from other regions or countries, to connect interesting people and ideas.

About Pôle SCS
SCS has focused its business activities on Microelectronics, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Security.
Pole SCS (Secured Communicating Solutions), created in 2005, is a digital cluster based in the SUD region, in France, and gathers more than 300 members, including companies (and 70% of SMEs), research centers and educational institutions mainly in the fields of Microelectronics, IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security, applied to Health, Smart cities, Industry 4.0, Transport & mobility (including smart vehicle).
Its aim is to promote the development of competitive R&D projects between all these players with the support of local communities, in order to design and develop new solutions targeting high-growth markets such as IoT, smart cities, smart homes and smart buildings, smart grids, Industry 4.0, logistics and transport or e-health. It also aims to contribute to the creation of an appropriate ecosystem for the overall regional ICT landscape, especially through the development of SMEs. SCS is also offering numerous services and products to its members, including access to technologies, to various platforms and to expertise and is promoting digital innovation to foster growth and employment in specific growing markets.

Über Smart Textiles Hub
Der Smart Textiles Hub ist für die Forschung, Entwicklung und dem Prototyping von Smart Textiles und technischen Textilien zuständig und führt dies in der Regel als Auftragsarbeit aus. Dafür werden unterschiedliche Fertigungsverfahren wie die Flachstrick-, Stick- und Konfektionstechnik genutzt. Zusätzlich ergänzen die Kompetenzbereiche 3D-Druck, Elektrotechnik und CAD-Konstruktion das Portfolio. Mittels Smart Textiles können Sensorik/Aktorik körpernah und diskret an den menschlichen Körper gebracht werden, sodass z. B. Bewegungen des Körpers getrackt oder Körperfunktionen überwacht werden können.
